Intro to Undead:         Submit A Strategy
I dont know about you but the Undead are one race I'm really looking forward to. Things like "insidious extra-dimensonal entities" sounds all too good to me. When people like the Burning Legion create a race for the sole purpose of creating terror across the entire world then you know things are gonna get ugly. As if the humans did not have enough to worry about here comes the army of death! Their leader goes by Nerzhul and he is known for things such as mental control, plague, and various other life draining ailments. Just called these decaying evil entities the darker side of WarCraft III.

Undead Strats:

The number of strategy submissions we are getting is insane! Thank you everyone who posted! We would have to be machines to keep up with all the submissions so we decided to make it so everyone could post their strategies for all to see. Undead Advantages:

• Summoning buildings is easy and leaves your Acolyte free to do other things.
• Less cost to expand
• Farms aka Zigerots can also serve as towers once you get your graveyard up
• Ghouls can get wood fast especially if you get your Death Knight with Unholy Aura
• unmm, really neat looking?
• umm, the dread lord says really funny things? (must click on him many times)

Undead Disadvantages:

• You can only build on land you have (blight)
• The Haunted Gold Mine and the Necropolis are the only buildings that can be placed on normal ground.

Undead Heros:

Lich	The Lich is the hero of choice, and is a terrific support unit who makes life very difficult for the enemy throughout the game. When used in combination with one of the other undead heros, the enemy forces will pay dearly. The Lich does have 2 main weaknesses: 1. He isn't very quick and 2. He needs to be guarded as often as possible.
Abilities: -Frost Nova This spell was made for hindering enemy units in every way. It keeps the units, around the targeted unit, from being able to properly move and attack. This spell is absolutly devastating to the enemy force and is especially useful when used at the beginning of a match, when the enemy usually has limited dispel defenses. -Frost Armor This spell requires being used cleverly to get truly effective results. It cools down quickly so you can continually cast it on your units and watch enemy units get damaged when they attack your targeted units. -Dark Ritual When your Lich is low on health and/or wants to kill an enemy unit, then you'll love this spell. Use it to even odds and give you the advantage against enemy forces in combat. -Death and Decay [Ultimate] Another truly devastating ultimate spell that can be used to destroy anything you want. We prefer attacking work operations and expansions where this spell tends to be very useful.

Dread Lord	The Dread Lord could almost be considered a blend between the Lich and the Death Knight. He works as both a fighter and spellcaster, doing excessive damage in melee combat and/or as a support unit. He becomes a deadly brawler at level 6 by putting his Inferno ability to use.
Abilities: -Carrion Swarm A good spell for doing quick damage to a limited number of enemy units. Is good for damaging and destroying enemy work units, especially in 'hit and run' situations. -Sleep This one is good for disrupting enemy unit battle plans. Cast it on heros and powerful enemy units to disrupt them. -Vampiric Aura Auras are always useful, and Vampiric Aura is even more so when used in combination with the Lich, who can cast Frost Armor on the Dread Lord while he holds the front line with your melee units. -Inferno [Ultimate] You wanna throw down? Then Inferno is the ability to do it with. The Dread Lord will stun and punish enemy forces in melee combat when he calls on this powerful ability.

Death Knight	A hero meant purely for the front line on the battlefield. While he may be good in melee combat, the Death Knight has a lot of glaring weaknesses making him a better support element until he can reach higher levels of experience.
Abilities: -Death Coil A decent spell for both healing and damaging enemy units. -Death Pact This spell kills a targeted friendly unit, giving your a percentage of the hit points back to your hero. -Unholy Aura Increase surrounding friendly units' healing and movement speed with this ability. Works well when you need to get your primary forces to a location, especially after you've already done damage to an enemy area and want to return to finish them off. -Animate Dead [Ultimate] Very useful and powerful, making the Death Knight a force of his own.

Undead Vs. Human:
Undead is a very unique race. With a varied force you can really do some damage. Bring in some ghouls with cannabalize and aboms for their hp. Back them up with necros and some crypt fiends and watch the mayhem begin. Be sure to use cannabalize when you can but be sure to save some for your skelly friends. We recommend Death Knight as your hero with his death coil to take out the very powerful human heroes and just keep your head on during fights.

Undead Vs. Night Elf:
The lich is your very best friend here. His frost nova is devasting against your low hp foes. Be sure to stock up on mana potions and keep at him strong. Crypt fiends are dangerous to use against NE because of their medium armor but still bring in a few in case they go air. Be sure to scout with your shades to know whats coming at you. Aboms can once again be very handy due to their high HP. Be sure to just overrun them with your superior melee and watch out for air.

Undead Vs. Orc:
Frost Wyrms are a very big boost to your already strong units against the orcs because of their AoE slow attacks. Bring in ghouls and aboms with frost wyrms helping you out in the air. Use the dread lord as your hero for his very powerful ultimate which can go toe to toe with any orcs unit they can throw at you. Just keep them slow with your wyrms and dominate them.
